Update (Friday, May 15): After an hour’s worth of EMG tests today, my second opinion doctor said it wasn’t carpal tunnel but probably just a pinched nerve, and that it would most likely continue to improve and go away and never come back.

After the past two weeks of rather horrible pain and not being able to sit at my computer for more than an hour at a time, I gotta say this was quite heartening to hear.
