And you can bet that everything’s gonna be alright at the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Amsterdam on Saturday, May 16. That’s when the ole Captain will officially be inducted at a sold-out dinner ceremony at the Perthshire Banquet Facility.

As one of the driving forces in making the rock ‘n’ wrestling connection, Albano served as NRBQ’s manager, starred in Cyndi Lauper’s classic “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” music video and co-authored the book, “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Pro Wrestling.”

Albano will be inducted alongside pioneer Evan “Strangler” Lewis, Wladek Zbyszko, Superstar Billy Graham, Chief Jay Strongbow, Macho Man Randy Savage, Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, Antonio Inoki, the Buffalo tag team of Mark Lewin and Don Curtis, and Donna Christantello. George “The Animal” Steele will act as master of ceremonies for the induction.
