Song of the Week: Crescent City Snow

Seeing the Cowsills on Wednesday reminded me of how much I love this song. Susan Cowsill wrote and recorded it in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, which claimed the life of her brother, Barry Cowsill.

It’s a beautiful and poignant love letter to the City of New Orleans and a paean to the resilience of the human spirit.
