Be Here Now: My Rifle @ Musica, 7/18

Straight outta Pleasant Valley, the singer-songwriter, guitar ‘n’ ukulele duo My Rifle land at Musica in Hudson for a free outdoor patio performance at 6pm on Saturday, July 18.

Shannon Beyer and Franny Olsen have been making music together since they were in the sixth grade, but they’ve only recently gotten serious about it and released their debut EP recording “Onion Blues.”

As influences the neo-folk duo lays claim to Stephen Malkmus, the Flaming Lips, Patsy Cline and Hank Williams.
