Real Good for Free: Rensselaer Riverfront Park

Yes, Albany’s Riverfront Park hosts the Alive @ 5 free concert series, while Troy’s Riverfront Park hosts a free series of afternoon kids’ shows.

But Rensselaer’s Riverfront Park is getting in on the free-music-in-the-park-by-the-river concept, too.

The concerts take place at 6pm on Wednesdays under the bridge by the gazebo, and in case of rain, they will move indoors to the Rensselaer Train Station.
