The Berkshire Women’s Muse Fest celebrates the art of female musicians with a day-long music festival on Saturday, August 15 at Wahconah Park in Pittsfield, Mass. Two stages will provide non-stop music by such performers as Suzanne Vega, Cheryl Wheeler, Gretchen Peters, Melissa Ferrick, Sonia, Sarah Bettens, Pamela Means, Lindsay Mac, Nervous But Excited and Amy Petty.

The Egg in Albany continues to bolster its concert calendar with newly announced performances by Arlo Guthrie (Friday, November 13), Crooked Still (Friday, January 8), DBR & the Mission (Friday, January 22) and Shawn Colvin (Friday, March 19). In addition, the late storyteller Spalding Gray – a frequent performer at The Egg – will be remembered with “Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell,” a four-actor performance of Gray’s works directed by Lucy Sexton on Friday and Saturday, November 13-14. Tix will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, July 28.

Spin Doctors frontman Chris Barron slips into the Van Dyck in Schenectady on Saturday, August 22 in support of his recently released solo album, “Pancho and the Kid.”
