Avalon does it again!

Woodstock’s own Avalon Peacock (of the alt-country band Mechanical Bull) and her singing partner Ryan Larkins have moved into the Final Four on the CMT country music singing competition cable television show, “Can You Duet.”

Last week, Avalon and Ryan delivered a sensual rendition of the Felice and Boudleaux Bryant classic ballad “Love Hurts,” promptly earning three big thumbs-ups from the judges.

Judge Naomi Judd raved, ” You guys are vintage and classic, and yet you’re so now. And you always leave me wanting more.”

The three “yes” votes meant that Avalon and Ryan were not in danger of elimination, and they automatically moved on to the Final Four round, which will be broadcast on CMT at 8pm on Saturday, July 25.
