Armory says ADIOS to Coyne

Jim Coyne is out as the head of the Washington Avenue Armory.

The question now is, What’s going to happen to the Armory?

According to the Armory’s website, there’s only one event booked – a concert by Christian rockers Skillet on October 1 – and details for that one are listed as “to be announced.”

Over the years, I’ve seen some great concerts there – everyone from Traffic to Fall Out Boy – and it sure would be a shame to see the place close up again.
