Skidmore College is shaping up as Nippertown’s coolest school for concerts. Last year, they brought Girl Talk to the Saratoga Springs campus, and this year it’s another big buzz breakthrough band – Grizzly Bear. Yeah, I know, the fall semester hasn’t even started yet?!? Metalocalypse rocks! No, we sadly didn’t get any new episodes of Adult Swim’s animated heavy metal show this summer. Joining them on stage will be Mastodon, Converge and High on Fire. Tix go on sale at 10am Friday, August 7.

A true metalhead would know the band’s name from Metalocalypse is Dethklok.
