See Hear Now: Distractions on BET-J

Congratulations to Kevin Craig West, Nippertown actor-writer-director-producer-cinematographer and all-around renaissance guy, whose short film, Distractions, was aired nationally yesterday on BET’s “Lens on Talent: A Filmmakers Challenge.” If you missed it, you can see it at 8pm tonight on the BET-J network.

Distractions, which West wrote, produced and stars in, is a short film about the dire consequences of driving while texting. Directed by Michalina Almindo, the film has been making the rounds of the festival circuit and is generating positive buzz (and awards). Way to go, Kevin!
