LIVE: The Christine Santelli Band @ the Van Dyck, 8/28/09

It was a homecoming concert for Christine Santelli. A native of Clifton Park and now a resident of Jersey City, blues-rooted singer-songwriter Santelli doesn’t make it back to Nippertown to perform very often, so when she does, it’s a special occasion.

On Friday, August 28, Santelli and her band stepped into the spotlight at the Van Dyck in Schenectady, and the place was packed with family, friends and fans. Playing both acoustic and electric guitars throughout the evening, Santelli showcased selections from her fine new album, “Any Better Time” on VizzTone Records, singing with power and passion.
