LIVE: Eric Trudel @ the Sembrich Museum, 9/5/09

The Sembrich Opera Museum in Bolton Landing concluded its 2009 summer concert series Saturday with a piano recital by Eric Trudel performing an evening of music by Rachmaninoff.

The program consisted of 24 Preludes ranging from the famous “C Sharp minor” to the dark and melancholy “F minor.” With considerable passion, Trudel effortlessly navigated Rachmaninoff’s compositions, stopping between works for a moment only to shoot a smile to the appreciative, applauding audience.

The sold-out concert was followed by a reception complete with wine, champagne, punch and finger food in a tent outside the museum.
