Real Good For Free: Poughkeepsie Main Street Farmers Market

Fresh food, great music and uplifting artworks of all kinds will be in abundance at the annual Harvest & Art Festival sponsored by the Poughkeepsie Main Street Farmers’ Market this Friday, September 11 from 11:30am-2pm at Mural Park on Main Street, just east of Market Street.

Featured performers include swing music by Suzie Deane & the Deane Machine and the Over The Pond to Poughkeepsie Ensemble reading selections from “1776,” You’ll also be able to watch a cooking demonstration using stevia recipes and visit lots of information booths for local arts organizations including Mill Street Loft, Barrett Clay Works, the Children’s Media Project.
