Real Good for Free: Capital Region’s Got Talent, 10/1/09

Now it’s starting to get interesting…

After three weeks of auditions, the field has been narrowed down to just 20 contestants in the Capital Region’s Got Talent singing competition.

The 20 finalists are: Marc Andrezejewski, Courtney Biondo, Alicia Brown, Katrina Marie Burg, James Dowen, Andrew Elder, Danielle Goudin, Laura Jones, Stephen Kissinger, Terry McClain, Collette McComb, Sharon MacPherson, J.T. Maple, Eric Margan, Victoria Minucci, Danielle Mozeleski, George Normandin, Frank Palangi, Benjamin Uytiepo and Bianca Zongrone.

All 20 singers will be performing in the first of three rounds of competition at 7pm on Thursday, October 1 at Revolution Hall in Troy. Thursday will be ’80s night, and the singers will select material from the decade that gave us hair metal, Chernobyl and “Just Say No.”

Half of the performers will be eliminated, and only 10 will move on to the semi-final round of competition next week.

Come on out and cheer on your favorites. Admission is free.
