MUSIC: The Blakes @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany: The Seattle indie rock trio tears into town in support of their new album, “Souvenirs.” 8pm. $6.

MUSIC: The Red Haired Strangers and the Tern Rounders @ Revolution Hall, Troy: Rev Hall’s weekly Free Tuesday concert series continues with a pair of the finest Nippertown band’s on the edge of country music: Red Haired Strangers come at country from the folk-blues/bluegrass end of the spectrum, while Tern Rounders take the Gram Parsons approach, neatly balancing country with rock. 9pm. Free.
