Company of Thieves – who made their Nippertown debut at LarkFest in September – are slated to return to headline at Revolution Hall in Troy on Wednesday, December 9. Local faves Lunic and 28N are slated to open the show. Also Donna the Buffalo stampedes into Rev Hall on Friday, February 12.


Although we haven’t heard the official word from the theater just yet, rantin’, ravin’ comedian Lewis Black is headed back to the Palace Theatre in Albany on Thursday, February 4. Look for tix to go on sale on Saturday, December 5. Also popping into the Palace, Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles sets up shop on Thursday, February 25.


Jillian’s in Albany will play host to radio station FLY92’s Jingle Jam ’09 on Monday, December 7. Sean Kingston headlines the holiday bash with support from Jason Derulo, popsters Push Play and Nippertown rockers Ten Year Vamp.


Over at The Egg, singer-songwriter Shannon McNally has been added as the opening act for the Derek Trucks Band on Sunday, December 13, while Gregory Alan Isakov will do the warm-up act honors for Brandi Carlile on Thursday, February 4. And the concert by classical guitarist Sharon Isbin and violin master Mark O’Connor, which was originally slated for Saturday, March 13, has been moved to 3pm Sunday, March 14.
