Flame Gets TV Time!
Local pop-rock band Flame already has three CDs under its collective belt, and there’s more on the way.
The 11-piece band, which originally formed at the Lexington Center in Johnstown, received another big push into the mainstream spotlight this morning (Friday, November 27, when the band garnered national television coverage on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America.” Read the story and/or watch the video here.
The band’s joyous pop and rock music is all the more inspiring when you realize the members of Flame all have physical or developmental disabilities, including autism, blindness and Down syndrome.
Next up on Flame’s concert calendar is a stop at The Linda in Albany on Friday, December 11, when they’ll surely showcased some of the seasonal selections from Christmas CD, “Holiday Classics.”
