Be Here Now: 13th Annual Hudson Winter Walk
The 13th Annual Hudson Winter Walk is this Saturday (tomorrow) from 5-8pm and this year looks like it will be bigger and better than ever. All of Warren Street will be closed to traffic to make way for, among other things, a stilt-walking toy soldier, a bagpiper, giant puppets, a walking snowman, belly dancers, a Santa parade, miniature horses, Roger The Jester, live reindeer, The Gingerbread Witch, and numerous elves and angels.
You can expect imaginatively decorated shop and gallery windows with at least 20 shops offering live music, as well as dance performances at 330 Warren Street and the Hudson Opera House. Stageworks is performing a 15-minute version of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” performed at the J. Damiani Gallery. We haven’t begun to touch on all the festivities. Don’t miss it.
