12/16/09: Today’s Tips: Wednesday

MUSIC: Cuddle Magic @ the Spring Street Gallery, Saratoga Springs: The sprawling chamber-pop ensemble – featuring Ben Davis of Railbird – makes a Spa City stop at the intimate, 40-seat gallery in advance of the February release of the band’s marvelous sophomore album, “Picture.”

THEATER: “My Fair Lady” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. In The Daily Gazette, Carole King writes, “this holiday production by Cap Rep is quite simply ‘loverly.’ ” By George, she’s got it! If you haven’t got your ticket yet, you’d better hurry. The production only runs through Sunday (December 20). 7:30pm. $15-$45.

MUSIC: The Jodie Levinson Band @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs: As part of the Emerging Artists Breakout series, NYC-based singer-songwriter-pianist leads her blues/pop combo. 7pm. $5.
