KIDS MUSIC: Ben Rudnick & Friends @ Steamer #10 Theater, Albany. American roots music done jam-band style for the whole family. 10am & 1pm. $12.

FILM: “Miracle on 34th Street” @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. The 1947 classic Christmas movie. 7pm. $5; children $3.

MUSIC: Pinstripe Melee @ the Saratoga Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. Post-Christmas ska, punk, rock and more. Sharing the bill will be Outrider, Sugareater and the Grey Fedora. 6pm. $5.

VARIETY: Bing Bamboo Room Burlesque @ Savannah’s, Albany. Emceed as always by Mr. Guy Smiley, Nippertown’s own burlesque and vaudeville revue presents “Holiday Hangover 2” with performances by MotherJudge, Sandi, Scooter Pie, Samara, Madisin, Lillian Gash, Brook Storm, Miss Bella Vendetta, Le Feu Du Coeur, Carmie Hope and Frieda Muncheon. 8 & 10pm. $8.

    Greg Haymes founded Nippertown, along with his wife Sara Ayers, in 2009. Greg was a musician, journalist, and ambassador to the Capital Region arts community. Greg passed in April of 2019, but his legacy continues.
