From Revolution Hall to JENT

There’s been a lot of buzz since we wrote about the upcoming plans for Revolution Hall in Troy yesterday.

And coincidentally, yesterday former Revolution Hall manager Jared Kingsley also publicly announced the formation of JENT Entertainment and Events, a new integrated event planning company.

Kingsley says, “I have travelled the country making connections and networking with some of the best in the business, and now it’s time to work for myself.”

Perhaps not so coincidentally, the first music bookings out of the gate for JENT just happen to be bands that have made multiple appearances at Rev Hall.

Sublime tribute band 40 Oz. to Freedom will be headlining at Red Square in Albany on Thursday, February 4. Odus Budd will open the show.

And Michael Jackson tribute band Who’s Bad? will be moonwalking into Northern Lights in Clifton Park on Saturday, February 6.

Kingsley did a good job during his tenure at Rev Hall, and we here at Nippertown.com certainly wish him well in his new business venture.

Thanks Greg, I am excited about a fun, fresh start. Although I have started ahead my website is still under construction, there will be more to come shortly. All of my shows tickets can be purchased at ticketfly.com and I am happy to entertain ideas from all over the capital district on everything from concert bills to corporate events. So, send them my way, and I’ll hopefully see you at a show soon.
I can be reached at [email protected]
