ART AND MUSIC: Art Night Schenectady @ various locations, Schenectady (FREE) Art, music and culture all over town and did we mention it’s FREE?

FLASHBACK: “Vamp: Remembers the QE2” @ the Fuze Box, Albany. Ah yes, those memories come flooding back… It’s old-home week for QE2 vets as the old White Tower building hosts a weekend-long extreme nightclub makeover, recapturing the glory days of the Q in art, music and spirit. 10pm. $5.

MUSIC: Nippertown singer-songwriter Frank Jaklitsch rolls into McIntyre’s, Watervliet. It’s a dual celebration – the release of Jaklitsch’s 13th CD, “Some Heart,” as well as his 55th birthday. 8pm.

THEATER: Old Reliable Amusement Company @ Time & Space Ltd., Hudson. The Vermont-based Old Reliable Amusement Company presents a production of “The Brand New Same Old Baloney Show,” which has been described as “a puppetry cabaret/novelty music sha-bang.” It’s also been described as “a wild spasm of hooey, hogwash and nonsense hosted by the great bologna, featuring the music of olden days played by a six-piece Gorilla Brass Band.” 7:30pm.

MUSIC: The Philly-based father-and-son acoustic roots music duo Beaucoup Blue slips into Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Singer-songwriter Trina Hamlin opens the show. 8pm. $17.

ART: Opening reception for “BerkshireCity: Pittsfield on Film” @ Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, Pittsfield. Juried exhibit of photography showcasing Pittsfield’s built landscape featuring 26 photographers including Kevin Sprague, Scott Barrow, Scott Edward Cole, Kay Canavino, Mary Garnish, Karl Volkmann, Nicole Garzino and many more. 5-7pm FREE! (Through March 6)

MUSIC: Tin/Bag @ Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, Pittsfield. The artist reception above will be followed by a concert by the trumpet and guitar collaboration Tin/Bag, a group that has been called “Radiant…spare, haunting, with hints of modernist avant garde gestures.” by The Wire’s Andy Hamilton. 7:30pm. $10.

THEATER: Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll & Hyde Story @ Curtain Call Theatre, Latham. A darkly comic adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, this comedy of horrors is a fast-paced romp of man experimenting with good and evil. Show times are Thursdays at 7:30, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 and Sundays at 3:00. $20.00. (And there’s a complimentary pre-show wine & cheese on Fabulous Fridays!) THEATER: The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) @ The Ghent Playhouse, Ghent. Three guys, one dead playwright, and 37 plays, all in under two hours. Performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. (Through January 31)
