DANCE/MUSIC: The Dance Flurry Festival @ various locations throughout Saratoga Springs. Bust out of those cabin fever doldrums. The 23rd annual Dance Flurry takes over Saratoga for a three-day celebration of participatory dance and music. It all gets underway tonight with Dirty Rice, Nightingale, Miss Tess & the Bon Ton Parade, Quickstep, the Donald Young Blues Band, the Great Bear Trio and lots more. 7pm. $25; students/seniors $20; children $1.

FILM: “Sweetgrass” @ Time and Space Limited, Hudson. This documentary film by Ilisa Barbash and Lucien Castaing-Taylor follows the last of the modern-day cowboys as they lead their flocks of sheep up into Montana’s breathtaking and often dangerous Absaroka-Beartooth mountains for summer pasture. 5:30pm. $7; students $5.

MUSIC: Donna the Buffalo @ Revolution Hall, Troy. They play zydeco. They play country-rock. They play reggae. They play bluegrass. Sometimes all at once. The pride of Trumansburg also hosts the annual Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance. C’mon down and join the Herd. With the Basement Band. 8pm. $20.

MUSIC: Eric Church @ Northern Lights, Clifton Park. If you haven’t already scored your tix for this country hitmaker, then you’re outta luck. This show is SOLD OUT. With Josh Thompson. 8pm.
