FILM: “Lola” @ UAlbany’s Page Hall, Albany. Director Jacques Demy‘s 1961 interpretation of the classic tale of Lola, the beautiful cabaret singer and the men under her spell. In French with English subtitles; starring Anouk Aimee. 7pm. Free.

MUSIC: The Three Rix @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Three guys named Rick – Rik Palieri (of the Rose Tattoo), Rick Nestler (of the Clearwater Sloop Singers) and Rich Bala (of the Barefoot Boys) – join musical forces for the first time. Who knows what will happen? 8pm. $17.

FILM: “Peoples Pixel Project” @ the Rock Hill Bakehouse Cafe, Glens Falls. An encore presentation of the screening of the award-winners and finalists in the Lake George Arts Project‘s recent short video competition. 7:30pm. $10.
