It’s ARTS DAY in Albany! Let your Governor and state representatives know how much New York State’s support of the arts means to you!

MUSIC: George Clinton @ Northern Lights, Clifton Park. We’re standing on the verge of gettin’ it on. Yes, the Mothership is landing, and the funk just don’t get any funkier than when Mr. Clinton is behind the steering wheel. 9pm. $22. UPDATE: This show has been postponed due to the snow. MUSIC: Micah Scoville @ the College of Saint Rose’s Massry Center, Albany. The classical guitarist offers a recital of compositions, stretching the repertoire from J.S. Bach to Ralph Towner. 7:30pm. Free.

TALK: rAndom International‘s “Real-Time Reactive Systems in Art and Design” @ EMPAC at RPI, Troy. Best known for large-scale public installations combining technology, media, design and art, rAndom International play with real-time reactive systems that offer viewers an intuitive body-based experience. 7pm. Free.

MUSIC: The Viking @ Savannah’s, Albany. Ralph Renna‘s “Capital Underground Live” concert series continues with the Viking, as well as Tentacles and Savage Henry. 8pm. Free.
