TALK/READING: Jules Feiffer @ Clark Auditorium, Cultural Education Center at the NYS Museum, Albany. Not only one of the most influential editorial cartoonists of the last half century, Feiffer is also an artist, writer, screenwriter and playwright who has been honored with a Pulitzer Prize, an Academy Award, a New York Drama Critics Circle Award and a Writers Guild Award for Lifetime Achievement. 8pm. FILM: “The White Stripes: Under the Great White Northern Lights” @ the Black Swan, 66 Broadway, Tivoli. Music documentary film about the 2007 Canadian tour for the White Stripes’ “Icky Thump.” 7:30pm.

MUSIC: Doyle Dykes @ Lillian’s Restaurant, Saratoga Springs. Acoustic guitar master comes to town, presented by Saratoga Guitar. 7pm. $10.

MUSIC: Mat Kearney and Ingrid Michaelson @ Northern Lights, Clifton Park. Two acclaimed alt-popsters share the headlining slot, while acoustic soul singer-songwriter Angel Taylor opens the show. 8pm. $22.

MUSIC: Celtic Crossroads @ The Egg, Albany. Seven world-class musicians claim “to do to Irish music what ‘Riverdance’ has done to Irish dance,” in this benefit concert for Albany’s Irish American Heritage Museum. 7:30pm. $30.
