New Concert Announcements: SPAC, Palace, Alive@5
Seems like we just wrote about a whole slew of new concert announcements just a couple of days ago. Oh yeah, we did.
But ’tis the season when concert announcements are popping up faster than springtime crocuses, so here are a few more…
O.A.R. is headed back to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center for what’s become an annual tour stop. The band hits the SPAC stage on Sunday, August 1. Tix are slated to go on sale at 12noon Wednesday.
Things have been a little slow on the concert front at the Palace Theatre in Albany lately, but helping to brighten things up a bit is the arrival of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne with his longtime musical sidekick, the ever-eccentric David Lindley. They’re scheduled for Tuesday, September 7. Tix are expected to go on sale on Monday, April 12.
And we’re guessing that Eddie Money must have a summer home around here somewhere, as he’s slated to make his third annual summertime tour stop in town on Thursday, July 22. For the past two years, he’s played free outdoor shows in downtown Troy, but this time he’ll be crossing the river to play the Alive@5 concert series in Albany’s Riverfront Park.
