A political satire disguised as a techno-thriller, Sleep Dealer is set in the near future and examines issues of globalization, immigrant labor, privatization. It’s been raved about by everyone from io9 to The LA Times. The screening features a special appearance by the director, New York filmmaker Alex Rivera. In Spanish with English subtitles.
