Didn’t make the final cut of the Garage to Glory Battle of the Bands?

Got lost in the shuffle of more than 100 entries in the SPAC Battle of the Bands?

Well, you and your band have another chance to win big prizes, thanks to Ralph Renna – musician, promoter, disc jockey and all-around promoter of the Nippertown music scene.

Renna and his Capital Underground Radio are organizing a battle of the bands to be held in conjunction with the second annual Albany A Games. Yes, in addition to the skateboard and BMX competitions, Renna is hosting a battle of the bands that will take place at the Shelter Skatepark in Albany between 3-7pm on Saturday, June 5.

Finalists will be determined by online voting, and the top five vote-getters will perform live at the Shelter on June 5. The winner will walk away with $1,000 of recording studio time at North Sea Studios in Albany.

So how do you enter your band into the competition?

Simple. Just send an email to [email protected] and include the name of your band and a link to your band’s website.

But hurry. The deadline for entries is Friday (April 23).
