MUSIC: Greg Ginn & the Taylor Texas Corrugators @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. The All Music Guide hails Black Flag guitarslinger Ginn as “unquestionably, the most influential guitarist to emerge from the late-’70s/early-’80s U.S. hardcore/punk movement.” With the instrumental Taylor Texas Corrugators (guitarist Gary Piazza and drummer Sean Hutchinson), Ginn weaves all kinds of musicial influences into the blend – from punk to jazz, from country to blues, from Latin to psychedelia. With opening acts Robo-France 29 and Cinema Cinema. 8pm.

READING: Poets Speak Loud @ Tess’ Lark Tavern, Albany. The monthly poetry reading/open mic session celebrates National Poetry Month. Featured reader is Jason Crane, poet and host of The Jazz Session.
