Be Here Now: Sevendust @ Northern Lights, 5/7/10

Sevendust

Atlanta headbangers Sevendust are back in a big, big way.

In the wake of Sevendust’s fourth album – 2003’s “Seasons” – guitarist-vocalist Clint Lowery parted company with the band.

Sevendust carried on and recorded three more albums without Lowery, enjoying considerable success. But clearly, something was missing.

Fortunately, Lowery has re-joined the band, and now the reunited Sevendust is basking in the success of their new album, “Cold Day Memory.” When it was released last month, “Cold Day Memory” debuted at No. 12 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart, making it the highest debut in the band’s eight-album, 15-year career.

Sevendust is charging into Northern Lights in Clifton Park at 7:30pm on Friday. Sharing the bill are Saving Abel. Tix are $22 in advance; $25 at the door.
