Festival Fever: moe.down, 9/3-5
Jam band faves (and former Nippertownians) moe. are gearing up for their 11th annual moe.down fest on Labor Day weekend.
This year, they’re moving the fest to a new location: Gelston Castle Estate in Mohawk, a quick, easy drive west just off the Thruway.
And in addition to performances by moe. – who are celebrating their 20th anniversary with the June 1 release of “Smash Hits, Volume 1” on their own Fatboy Records – the first round of performers have been announced: The Black Keys, Built to Spill, Tortoise, the Ryan Montbleau Band and the Brew.
A limited number of Early Bird Tickets are on sale now through moe.ticketing for $90, until the allotment sells out, or Tuesday, June 1, when the second-tier, limited allotment of $110 kicks in. Admission includes camping.
Look for another round of artists to be announced in the coming weeks.
