Festival Fever: Berkshire International Film Festival, 6/3-6

Following Thursday’s opening night documentary double-bill screenings of “Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work” and “Keep Dancing,” the fifth annual Berkshire International Film Festival is in full swing.

Tonight’s awards ceremonies take place at 7:30pm at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington. The honoree as the winner of the 2010 BIFF Achievement in Film Award is actress Patricia Clarkson, and following the awards presentation, the fest will screen Clarkson’s upcoming film, “Cairo Time,” at 8:30pm.

There are plenty of other great films also being screened throughout the fest, including “What I Meant to Tell You: An American Poet’s State of the Union,” a documentary about poet Peter Kane Dufault which also stars actor Chris Noth. The film is being screened at 4:15pm today at the Triplex Cinema in Great Barrington. And, yes, ladies, Chris “Sex and the City 2” Noth will be there… in person.

Here’s the full schedule of films at the weekend-long festival.
