Real Good for Free: Freedom Park, Scotia

The annual summer concert series at Freedom Park in Scotia is traditionally one of the biggest batch of free shows in Nippertown all summer long, and this year is no exception with more than three dozen performances on tap.

At Freedom Park, there truly is something for everyone, and, of course, there’s the added bonus that right next door is one of Nippertown’s must-visit summer hot-spots – Jumpin Jack’s Drive-In.

Summertime at Freedom Park all gets underway on Wednesday evening – hey, that’s tomorrow – with a rousing performance by the Capital Region’s most popular Irish music-and-more band, Hair of the Dog, led by Rick Bedrosian.
