Be Here Now: Summer Jam @ East Field, 7/3/10

If you’re looking for a holiday weekend celebration in the north country, just head to East Field in Glens Falls on Saturday.

Radio stations 98.5 WCKM and HITS 95.9 are teaming up with the City of Glens Falls to present the 23rd annual Summer Jam celebration. Gates open at 4:30pm, and the show is scheduled to start at 6:45pm.

The opening the show will be local favorites the Marcabes, followed by party band Standing Room Only.

This year’s headline attraction is the Beach Party Boys, who are a Beach Boys tribute band. Really? Duh!

Immediately following the concert – at approximately 10pm – there will be a fireworks display.

Tickets for Saturday’s Summer Jam 2010 are $3. No bottles, cans, coolers or backpacks will be allowed on the grounds. Food and beverages will be available at the show.
