Real Good for Free: East Greenbush Library’s Summer Music Series

The East Greenbush Library is hosting its own free summer concert series, beginning tonight with the Peaceful Country Band.

But unlike so many other towns and local libraries that take advantage of the summer weather to move outdoors, the EG Library holds its summer series indoors – which is probably a good thing in the middle of this week’s heatwave.

So if you want to catch some free music tonight, but you don’t want to bake in the heat, the EG Library just might be the place for you.

The EG Library concerts take place at 7pm Wednesdays, unless otherwise noted. Here’s the line-up:

July 21, 6:30pm: John Root’s “Popular Music of the Gaslight Era”
July 28: Byrne & Barrett
August 4: Red Haired Strangers
