Weekend Roundup

There’s that autumn chill in the air, which means that everybody’s scrambling to get their last outdoor music fix.

And of course, everybody from EMPAC to A Place for Jazz to Old Songs is kicking off their fall concert season.

There are a number of musical remembrances in honor of 9/11, including Frank Jaklitsch’s annual memorial concert at Albany’s Hibernian Hall.

And a batch of CD release parties, too.
