Festival Fever: “Rockin’ Horses” @ the Parting Glass, 9/19/10

Equine AdvocatesOn Sunday at the Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs, a batch of Nippertown bands are donating their time and talents to join forces for “Rockin’ Horses,” a concert to benefit Equine Advocates.

The all-day mini-fest features seven local bands, headed by the award-winning pop-rock duo Sirsy. The fest begins at 1pm on Sunday.

The line-up of bands includes (in order of appearance):
1pm: Dave Graham (of the Blisterz)
2pm: Bicycle Mary
3pm: Gracie’s Paris
4pm: Sirsy
5pm: Jocamo
6pm: Matt Mirabile
7pm: Zombie Bomb

In addition to the musical festivities, there will also be silent gift auctions and a 50/50 raffle.

Advance tickets are $5 and can be purchased online at Equine Advocates. Tickets purchased at the door will be $10.

Equine Advocates is a national non-profit horse protection organization based in Chatham, at a 140-acre sanctuary which is home to rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
