Real Good for Free: Hispanic Heritage Celebration @ Empire State Plaza, 9/18/10
The summer’s 2010 At the Plaza concert series concludes on Saturday with the Hispanic Heritage Celebration.
Following the Capital Region Latino Parade, the Empire State Plaza will host a day-long festival of Latino music and culture headlined by Xtreme, the multi-platinum duo of Danny “Danny D” Mejia and Steve “Steve Styles” Tejada.
The duo was the subject of their own bilingual reality television show, “On the Verge,” and they’ll be showcasing their infectious bachata sound in support of their latest album, “Chapter Dos: On the Verge.”
The celebration will run from 3-8pm on Saturday, and other performers slated to showcase their talents throughout the fest include Toby Rivera, Victor “El Toro” Tolentino and others.
Admission is free.
