Happy Birthday, Kenneth Patchen

Today marks the 99th anniversary of the birth of poet Kenneth Patchen. In addition to poetry, he also wrote several magnificent, experimental novels – “The Journal of Albion Moonlight” is our fave – and painted many of what he called “picture poems.” Kenneth Patchen died on January 8, 1972.
