Ooooh! There’ll be new Albany All Stars mayhem this weekend as The Dept. of Public Hurts take on The Empire Skate Troopers in the roller derby team’s second intra-league bout. The matchup starts at 7pm this Saturday, January 29, at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany and includes live music by The Erin Harkes Band. Plus, a portion of proceeds to benefit Easter Seals of New York. Tickets are just $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $4 for children under 12.

The Albany All Stars are the HOTTEST thing in Albany! I stood out in the cold for over 30 minutes just so that I could see the first bout on January 8th! I’d wait in the cold all day if it meant catching an AASRD bout!
