Performers Announced for the 2011 Old Songs Festival of Music & Dance
So, the day after the Saratoga Performing Arts Center announces the line-up of performers for the Freihofer’s Jazz Festival, the folks at Old Songs announce the roster of musicians for the 31st annual Old Songs Festival of Music and Dance at the Altamont Fairgrounds on the same weekend – Friday-Sunday, June 24-26.
More than 70 professional performers will appear in concert at 7pm on the Friday or Saturday and at 3pm on the Sunday. The same musicians will also appear from 10am-5pm on the Saturday and Sunday, performing on eight stages in more than 120 performances and participatory workshops, classes, and dances.
In addition, there will be a family stage and activity area, food vendors, instrument makers and a juried craft show. Camping is available for all three days with advance all-festival camping ticket.
