Still Rockin’ 15 Years On…

The Erotics celebrated their 15th anniversary just last week with a big bash at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany. And tonight they’re kicking off their latest UK tour with a gig in Ilkeston, England.
Meanwhile, this Saturday night, Nippertown’s favorite powerhouse power trio Super 400 celebrates its 15th anniversary with a rip-snortin’ gig at the Ale House in Troy. “We’ve left many years worth of ghosts in that room, rusty backs, metallic abandon, bleeding souls and soaring hearts,” says bassist Lori Friday. “Time to shake those bones and get down!”
And since all of their local gigs are about giving back, the Trojan trio will also be conducting a raffle at the gig for the benefit of the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society.
Then next week, Friday and her bandmates – drummer Joe Daley and guitarist Kenny Hohman – head out west for a tour that includes stops in California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado.
Super 400 cranks it up at the Ale House in Troy at 9pm on Saturday for the benefit of the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society. Blast the message!
Quite possibly Albany’s finest with a real sense of home town pride and a charitable heart. They walk among us and I for one am glad they do.
