THEATER: “The Red Container” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Written and directed by Linda Mussman in collaboration with Claudia Bruce, “The Red Container” is a performance featuring Taylor Morrison which explores global geo-politics, Wal-Mart and Mao. 7pm. (Also Wednesday)

COMEDY: Laughs on Lark @ Elda’s on Lark, Albany. Matt Kelly hosts Ladies’ Night, a stand-up smorgasbord featuring five funny females: Carlisle Carey, Mary Kenney, Kate Lee, Ranee Taylor and Jaye McBride. 9pm. $5.
