MUSIC: The Constellations @ Jillian’s, Albany. Straight out of Atlanta’s after-hours rock scene, magnetic frontman and vocalist Elijah Jones leads his three-ring circus of a band in support of their major label debut, “Southern Gothic.” With Alta Mira and Northern Water Snake. 8pm. $8.

MUSIC: Ramblin Jug Stompers @ McGeary’s, Albany. Acoustic back-porch country funk with washboard, banjo, guitar, mandolin, jug, harmonica and special guests galore. 7pm. FREE.

COMEDY/MUSIC: Monday Night Madness @ Villa Valenti Pub, Troy. Ralph Renna hosts a Capital Underground Live evening of stand-up comedy by Jeff Crawford and acoustic music from Tom McWatters. 7pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Dan Bern & Common Rotation @ Club Helsinki Hudson, Hudson. A singer-songwriter with dedication to social change, a wry sense of humor and a go-for-the-throat attitude, Bern will be joined by his band, Common Rotation. With Falu. 8pm. $15.
