MUSIC: Munnelly @ the Eighth Step at Proctors, Schenectady. Led by County Mayo’s button accordion virtuoso David Munnelly, the dazzling Irish music sextet was named Instrumental and Vocal Band of the Decade by LiveIreland.com. A perfect post-Parade Day concert. 7:30pm. $22.
MUSIC: Melissa Auf der Maur @ Club Helsinki Hudson, Hudson. She’s played with everyone from Courtney Love’s Hole to Ric Ocasek to Smashing Pumpkins. The multi-talented rocker makes a rare hometown appearance with “Hunt for the Heart.” 9pm. $12.

MUSIC: Signal @ EMPAC at RPI, Troy. Performing Steve Reich’s “Music for 18 Musicians” and “Double Sextet” under the direction of Bradley Lubman. 8pm. $15.
READING/MUSIC: “Chinese White Bicycles” @ MASS MoCA, North Adams. Uber record producer Joe Boyd reads from his memoir, “White Bicycles,” while Robyn Hitchcock chimes in with some appropriate songs. 8pm. $18 in advance; $22 at the door; $28 prioriaty.
MUSIC: The Chandler Travis Philharmonette @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Mondo musical mayhem as the pajama-clad Travis, drummer Rikki Bates and Caffe Lena’s own Joe Deuel celebrate their birthdays. 8pm. $18 in advance; $20 at the door.

PARADE: St. Patrick’s Day Parade @ Albany. The 61st annual St. Pat’s celebration marches down Central Avenue, beginning at Quail and Central at 2pm. FREE.
MUSIC: Brother Joscephus & the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. A belated Mardi Gras blowout with the 12-piece feel-good explosion of love, righteousness and New Orleans soul. With Fillet of Soul. 9pm. $15.
MUSIC: Evelyn Glennie and the Albany Symphony Orchestra @ the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. One of the world’s premiere percussionists Evelyn Glennie joins the ASO for John Corigliano’s “Conjurer, Concerto for Percussionist and Orchestra.” Dukas’ “Fanfare to La Peri” and Mozart’s “Symphony No. 38, Prague” round out the program. 7:30pm. $19, $32, $45, $57; seniors $14, $27, $37, $49; students $15.
