Festival Fever: Bluestock Update
We’ve already told you about Bluestock – the big, three-day blues festival that will be taking place at Hunter Mountain in Hunter on August 26-28.
But Bluestock organizers have added some notable new acts to the bill.
Gregg Allman – who released a solo album “Low Country Blues” on Rounder Records earlier this year – will headline one of the three days. The other previously announced headliners are Buddy Guy and Elvin Bishop.
New Orleans hornman Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue have also been added to the line-up.
And the strangest new Bluestock announcement?
That’s right, film action star Steven Seagal will co-host the festival, as well as perform with his band Thunderbox.
Who does Steven Seagal think he is — Jan Michael Vincent!?
The location of Bluestock at Hunter Mountain is outrageous and easily accessible from anywhere in the Northeast. Check out the Bluestock video at http://www.bluestock.com
