Festival Fever: WGNA’s CountryFest @ Altamont Fairgrounds
Country music radio station WGNA-FM is once again hosting its annual day-long CountryFest – the biggest Nippertown country music event of the year – at the Altamont Fairgrounds this summer. The date is Saturday, July 9. The parking lot opens at 7:30am. The gates open at 11am. The show starts at 1pm.

Priced at $35, tix will go on sale on Monday, April 11 online and at Hannaford stores. Tix will be $45 at the gate.

My wife said that there will be special presales where you can get Countryfest tix for $25 (they’ve done that in years before, too), but you probably have to listen to WGNA to find out when/where they are. In the past years they’ve been at Northstar Chevy or a Friehoffer’s location.
