There’s gonna be double the usual mayhem on wheels this weekend. That’s right, it’s a doubleheader!

The Albany All Stars roller derby gals will be flying around the track as they take on Central New York Roller Derby for upstate bragging rights this Saturday, April 2 at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany.

But that’s only half of the fun…

Men – that’s right, MEN! The All Stars gals will be sharing the track with a men’s bout on Saturday, as Albany’s own Capital District Trauma Authority faces off against Utica’s Quadfathers in a flurry of fun and flying elbows. (Wonder whether they’ll be wearing fishnets, too?)

And in between all of the action on the track, the evening will also feature a live blast of high-energy, powerhouse, American rock ‘n’ roll from Slick Fitty.

Doors open at 5pm on Saturday; the whistle for the first bout is at 6pm. Tickets are just $10 in advance; $12 at the door; and $4 for children under 12. And a portion of proceeds will be donated to Nick’s Fight to Be Healed.
