MUSIC: Tim Reynolds @ the College of Saint Rose’s Massry Center, Albany. Last week the Dave Matthews Band’s saxman Jeff Coffin took the stage at St. Rose. Now Matthews’ best bud and right-hand guitar man steps into the spotlight for a solo performance. 7:30pm. $25.

MUSIC: Rachel Yamagata @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. The singer-songwriter is back again for the final show of her three-week Wednesday night “In The Woods Residency.” Tonight, power-popster Mike Viola opens the show. 8pm. $15.

MUSIC: The Eden Stell Guitar Duo @ Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center, Saratoga Springs. Mark Eden and Christopher Stell perform a Stell arrangement of a Bach concerto (based on an oboe concerto by Alessandro Marcello); works by Leo Brouwer, Joaquin Rodrigo, Phillip Houghton and Johannes Moller; and Eden’s arrangements of pieces by Fredric Mompou and Timothy Bowers. 8pm. $12; students $5.

READINGS: Lynne Tillman and Tomas Urayoan Noel @ the Standish Room at UAlbany’s Science Library, Albany. Presented by the New York State Writers Institute, novelist-short story writer Tillman and poet Noel read from their works. 8pm. FREE.
